viggme- First, let me say that if anyone is going to bet soccer Pinnacle is a definite place you want to have an account and your question covers that reason. They have a wide variety of lines on sides and totals and that's a big edge for the bettor. The pick and -1/2 +115 are a good example of their wide variety of ways to bet a game.
Let's say you want to bet $200 on the game. You would enter $200 into that betting box. That would give you $100 at pick +115 and $100 at -1/2 +115. You're just splitting your wager so that half is at pick and half is at -1/2. The juice stays the same. In this case, it's at +115. The same would apply if you see a split price on a total. Such as 2 1/2 and 3 +115
I suppose you could could call this a form of Asian Handicap betting. The big difference is Pinnacle doesn't use any 1/4 or 3/4 balls. When you get a chance, go to bet365.com and read their soccer rules. They explain Asian handicap betting in there very well.
Sky- You're correct. It's just that Pinnacle doesn't list it as 1/4 ball or 3/4 ball. That can be a bit confusing for people that are just beginning to bet soccer or are used to seeing the prices listed a bit differently at other books.
pinnacle didn't used to have quarter asians a few months (or close to a year) ago, but as soon as they started offering this very worthwhile betting option, they 've managed to offer, as per usual, some of the more competitive prices in the market.
